About me

My name is Anna Szalay, and I am a clinical naturopath.

I chose to become a naturopath because I couldn’t see myself pursuing any other path.

Before I went to study naturopathy, all my free time was spent learning and researching. My job at that time (corporate finance), even though a lot of fun and other benefits, felt like a waste of my precious years on this lovely planet.

Fast forward almost 10 years, and I feel like I’m where I’m supposed to be – helping people to puzzle out what’s happening with their health. I feel very privileged and honoured that so many wonderful human beings have trusted me already and have tears in my eyes every time a patient says that there is no need to see me anymore as they are much better.

Most people come to see me for their gut and hormonal issues, fertility and kids’ health, autoimmune conditions, dermatological and neurological disorders.

As a naturopath, I aim to identify the underlying reason for a person’s health problems and follow an evidence-based approach utilising the most recent scientific research and testing methods while incorporating time-proven traditional treatment options.

I believe in the body’s self-healing mechanisms and treating the whole person, not just individual symptoms.

My Qualifications:
– Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy)
– Diploma in Nutrition and Health Coaching
– Masters of Commerce (Finance)
– Bachelor of Economics
– Member of Naturopaths & Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA)
